Heyo, I'm Skyler! I'm a San Francisco-based photographer specializing in intimate weddings, elopements, and the wonderfully imperfect moments that make a wedding day yours.

My approach is documentary-inspired, which means I'm always paying attention to the real stuff: the way your mom hugs you before the ceremony, your dad tearing up during the vows, your niece raging on the dance floor, or the quiet little moments you share when nobody else is looking.
But I'm not a strict fly-on-the-wall photographer.
And I don't want to be.
I'll help you create beautiful portraits when you want them. I'll organize the family photos. I'll give you direction when you're not sure what to do with your hands. And when the moments start unfolding on their own, I'll step back and let them happen.
Think of me less as someone who is trying to make your wedding look perfect and more as someone who is there to notice it all.

Yes, I love to travel! I am based in San Francisco, CA and travel is included within a 30 mile radius of zip code 94109. If you're based relatively close to SF, a small travel fee will be added for every mile beyond.

You will receive an email with your online gallery of images 6 weeks after your wedding day! I'll also send over a few sneak peeks 2-4 days after your wedding so you'll be able to scratch that itch right away. :)
Want rushed delivery for the full wedding gallery? You can add it to your package!
Absolutely! I offer complimentary album design for all my wedding clients. Just let me know and I'll get that started as soon as your gallery is finished!
Additionally, you will be given access to an online shopping portal where you can order prints, canvases, albums, and a variety of other fine art options. This is a great option for extended family members. Simply send them the link to the gallery and they can order from the comfort of their own home!
Absolutely! I do require a 20% retainer up front to reserve your date. Once that’s secured, we can split your payments up however you want! Payment must be made in full before your wedding date.
I have always been drawn to documentary-style photos and firmly believe your natural beauty doesn't require Photoshop. However, I will remove any temporary blemishes and every image delivered will be edited with my signature style.
While I can't promise an exact number because every wedding day is so different, I typically deliver 50 - 100 images per photographic hour. So if you've booked an 8 hour wedding day package, you can expect somewhere between 400 and 800 photos, sometimes more! Don't worry, I never leave anything out. :) If I think you'll like the image, it will be included!
While I feel confident to document almost any wedding day solo, I think it's super beneficial to bring a second photographer for some scenarios. If you have a large wedding (over 80 guests), you and your partner are getting ready at separate locations that are far away, or you want photos of your guests mingling during cocktail hour while we're out taking wedding party + couples photos, then I do recommend bringing on a second photographer. Don't worry - I'll recommend exactly how many hours of coverage will be best for your day!
I've got you. Rain or shine, your wedding day is going to be amazing! I'll come prepared to document your wedding day regardless of what the weather brings, with a plan for sunshine, wind, or rain! If it's just light rain, I love bringing clear umbrellas to get those adorable under-the-rain photos! So few couples ever get a chance for those kinds of images and I think they're some of the most beautiful and memorable. :)
Heck yea I do! Film add ons are $100 per roll in either color or black and white (though I always recommend color)! You'll receive an additional 10-20 images per roll of film.
