I’m super excited to share Chloë and Troy’s wedding with you today because it’s a perfect reminder that even when things don’t go as planned on your big day, what really matters is the love that you share for one another! Their rainy day wedding in Healdsburg, California was nothing short of breathtaking, as you’ll see from the images below.

I am so excited to share this wedding with you!! Documenting this day was particularly special because last year, I had the honor of photographing Chloë’s brother’s wedding. Being invited to document another sibling’s love story felt incredibly meaningful to me! ❤️ Their day is also a perfect reminder that when things don’t go as planned on your big day, what truly matters is the love you share.

Chloë and Troy envisioned exchanging vows amidst the stunning vineyards of Healdsburg, California. But as fate would have it, the weather had other ideas.

The rain started early, and after a heartfelt first look under umbrellas, it became clear the outdoor ceremony wasn’t going to happen. The ground was soaked, and the vineyard setting they’d dreamed of just wasn’t feasible. So instead of letting the rain dampen their spirits (haha), their family and friends came together to transform a cozy home living room into a warm and inviting ceremony space.

Chloë’s walk down the aisle wasn’t through a vineyard. Instead it was a short but sweet stroll from the bedroom to the living room. With standing room only in the intimate space, the ceremony was raw, heartfelt, and undeniably beautiful. It’s one of the most memorable moments I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing. At the end of the night, Troy said to me, “That ceremony was so much more memorable than being married in the vineyard.”

And then, as if the universe decided to reward their resilience, the clouds parted after the ceremony, allowing everyone to enjoy the reception outdoors. And what a reception it was!! Nothing but good food and beverages, beautiful toasts, lots of laughter, and dancing under the night sky.

I don’t think words can fully describe the depth of Chloë and Troy’s love, but their wedding photos tell the story perfectly. Chloë and Troy, thank you so much for trusting me to document your incredible day. It was an honor to witness your love and celebrate alongside you!!
