SF City Hall Fourth Floor Balcony Wedding

I’m so excited to share this love story with you today! If you’ve ever considered getting married at San Francisco City Hall, this blog post is for you! There are several ways to get married at City Hall, and this couple chose to tie the knot on SF City Hall’s Fourth Floor Balcony (which happens to be my personal favorite spot)!

Sandra and Alfredo are two incredible humans who were literally destined to meet. Get this – they met in an online group video chat! Their connection was immediate and while they lived four hours apart, Alfredo started making the long drive to visit Sandra every weekend. After just six months, they decided to move in together.

These two humans have the biggest hearts! It’s not just their love for one another that makes them special. Both Sandra and Alfredo work for a peer outreach and help the unhoused community on a daily basis. Alfredo works directly with people who have physical disabilities and Sandra works with those who are in a life crisis. (Remember when I said they were destined to meet?) Their superpower is their love and care for other people as well as each other.

Sandra and Alfredo were married on the Fourth Floor Balcony at SF City Hall, surrounded by friends and family. They wanted their day to be celebrated with family and their photos to reflect their fun and playful personalities. From the moment they had their first look, the entire day was filled with happy tears and laughter, plus a whole lot of “holy sh*t, we’re really doing this aren’t we?!” Their family and friends frequently commented to me, “just look at how happy they are.” 🥹 They truly are a match made in heaven.

After their ceremony and some fun couples portraits around City Hall, we explored other locations around San Francisco, documenting images with gorgeous cityscapes and San Francisco’s iconic cable cars!

Their celebration ended at the Wayfare Tavern in the Financial District of San Francisco, where everyone gathered for a celebratory reception dinner. It was pure perfection!
